NFL Coach Bill Belichick said it best: "When I read a TAP
(Coach Report) it is like I wrote it after coaching the guy five
years."
The TAP Coach Report is written for the coach, in language
coaches use. It describes each player’s make up on key performance
dimensions. This leads to insight into each player’s make up and
developmental needs. In short, this report can help the coach
reach each player, help the player perform and make the difference
in winning.
There are many situations where the TAP Coach Report has
helped. New coaches will profile their entire squad to get off
to a faster start in knowing their players and team chemistry.
Stable programs use it to continue to improve and/or ward off
staleness. Recruiting is another situation, from the NFL Draft
to Colleges and competitive sports programs, the TAP Coach can
make sure the player and program have the right fit.
